Fairview Weekend Shuttle!
NeighborWorks Alaska partnered with BAC Transportation to provide a temporary weekend shuttle for the Fairview neighborhood to access the Midtown Carrs and Fred Meyer grocery stores. The shuttle was available on weekends from July 19 through October 2025.
The Fairview Weekend Shuttle service is complete! Please use People Mover Route 11 to connect Fairview to Midtown and more.
The Fairview Weekend Shuttle was supported by a Grant from the Municipality of Anchorage.

Route 11 Realignment
Due to the Gambell Carrs closure in May 2025, and the need for the Fairview community to have better access to a pharmacy and grocery store, Route 11 now has a new alignment starting October 27, 2025!

The Fairview Weekend Shuttle was a temporary service until the People Mover Route 11 changes came into effect!
